Sihyeon is a South Korean singer, dancer, and TV personality, best known as one of the members of the all-female K-pop group, Everglow, stylized as ΣVΣRGLOW. In February 2019, she was announced as the 1st member of the group. Soon after, it was announced that the group would consist of 6 members, with a final line-up including stage names E:U, Mia, Onda, Yiren, and Aisha. Sihyeon, as part of Everglow, released her debut single album titled Arrival of Everglow on March 18, 2019. On August 19, 2019, the group released their 2nd single album titled Hush.

Sihyeon Facts
As a singer, dancer, and TV personality, Sihyeon made her debut as a contestant on the reality-TV competition, Produce 101 in 2016. She ended up in the 40th place after elimination in the 8th episode. Soon after, Sihyeon was signed as a trainee and spent the next 2 and a half years working under Yuehua Entertainment.
In 2018, she made her debut on a similar TV show, Produce 48, where she was placed 27th and was eliminated in the 11th episode. Her co-star in the show was Yiren, her future bandmate.
Her fanbase noticed a strong resemblance to Bae Suzy (수지), a member of the girl group Miss A, who made her solo debut in early 2017.
She is roommates with her bandmate, E:U. They wear matching flower earrings often and also joke about dating each other due to how close they are.
E:U described her as full of happy and positive energy and a person that brings joy to everyone. She also called her voice “very attractive” due to her unique tone that uplifts everyone that hears it.
Sihyeon enjoys a friendship with all of the group members of IZ*ONE, a 12-member group also formed through Produce 48 she competed in. She considers Choi Ye Na and Kwon Eun-bi from the group her best friends.
